I can't believe I'm only a couple of weeks from having my baby! Where has the time gone? Since I've been working almost full time the entire pregnancy, it really has gone by fast. I'm glad it has, especially the past couple of months. Yesterday Jacob and I finished setting up the crib and organized the baby room a little bit. It's still not completely done, but I feel so much more prepared now! I was starting to get a little stressed out about it. We also bought the carseat/travelsystem a couple of weeks ago. That was the biggest thing that was stressing me out. I kept worrying that I would have the baby early and we wouldn't have the car seat yet and you can't leave the hospital without one. I was even having dreams about it. There are still a few things that we need to get and I need to pack the hospital bag (should probably do that soon since he could come any day now), but I feel that we have pretty much everything we need for right after he is born. It is weird to think that I only have two weeks left of working. I will probably go back and work part time, but not until September. I'm actually looking forward to having some time off. As much as I love doing hair, it starts to get old when you're mostly doing mens cuts.
Jacob has been playing on a couple of softball teams and a frisbee team for intramurals. Mancrush (the men's softball team) won the championship for spring term. They were estatic since they've been trying to win one for like 3 years. He is loving being able to play sports again. Last summer he had a herniated disk so he couldn't play for a while. He has been taking a couple of classes for his masters program and working about 30 hours a week. Jacob is also the Keyboardist for a cover band that plays for company events and things like that. He loves it and it is really fun to watch them play! There are a lot of talented people in the band. He's been a busy boy this summer! So that's pretty much our life right now : Baby stuff, work, sports, school, and band.

Yay for Jacob!
Last week, we found out that Jacob has been accepted to the graduate program he applied for here at BYU! We were pretty confident he would be accepted, but it's nice to know for sure. He will start this fall semester. The program is Instructional Psychology and Technology and he'll emphasize in Second Language Aquisition. He works hard and does very well in school. I am so proud of him for all that he has accomplished!

Pictures :)
Ok, so here are the pictures from the ultrasound:
This next one makes me laugh. It looks like he's smiling really big with his eyes open. Kind of creepy....

And the drumroll please.....
It's a boy!!! Today was the big day and we found out we are having a boy! We are both very excited. My mom was convinced that I would have a girl. I think that's just because she wants more granddaughters! Now she'll have 5 grandsons and only two granddaughters, so we really do need more girls in the family. It is weird being able to say he and know for sure it's a he. I always felt bad calling my baby an "it", so I'm glad I don't have to say "he or she" or "the baby". I can just say "he"! :) It was really fun seeing him today in the ultrasound. We got to see all sorts of things such as the boy parts (of course), the heart, kidneys, spine, his brain, nose, lips, ect. He was asleep and really still during most of it, but then at the end, he woke up and was wiggling around like crazy! Today just made it seem even more real, and now I just want it to be July so I can hold and love him!

Little Nudger
Over the past month, I have been hearing people who are about as far along as I am talk about feeling the baby kick. There were two times a couple of weeks ago that I thought I felt something move, but wasn't sure if it was really the baby or just my stomach growling or gas! I know people feel it at different times and many first time moms don't realize they are feeling the baby at first, but I was starting to get worried that I hadn't felt anything for sure yet! However, a couple of days ago I felt baby move for sure! I was excited! I have now felt my "little nudger" (to quote Bella) at least a couple times each day since then. I feel much better and feeling the little flips inside me make it a lot more real. We find out on Thursday what we are having, and we are super excited to finally know so we can start getting things ready and buy cute little clothes and things!

First comes love, then comes marriage...
Then comes the baby! Yep, I am 16 weeks pregnant! So far, things have been going great. I haven't been sick at all, which is very nice to not have to deal with throwing up and stuff while working about 40 hours a week. It is baby season or something because SO many people I know are pregnant! It is fun to be pregnant at the same time as them and share the joys (and the not so joyful things) of pregnancy. At about 11 weeks I had my first appointment and they did an ultrasound. That made it so much more real. I am due on July 30th, which is actually 2 years after our first date. Chances are I won't actually have the baby on that day, but it would be kind of cool if I did. :) We are excited for this new member of our family and the experiences that will come from raising children.

Home Sweet Home
In December, we bought a townhouse in south Provo. We moved in at the end of December and have been settling in over the past month. We absolutely love it here! It feels so much more like home than Wymount did, and its three times the space! It was newly remodeled before we bought it. Here are some pics:
